PdfNexa Privacy Policy

PdfNexa provides online PDF tools for merging, splitting, compressing, converting, protecting, OCR, and document workflow tasks. This policy explains how files, account details, usage data, payments, and ads are handled.

Document uploads and PDF processing

Uploaded files are processed only for the tool selected by the user. Files are stored with generated names, validated server-side, and separated from normal public browsing paths. Temporary processing files should be deleted on a scheduled cleanup interval by the site owner.

Account and registration information

When users register or log in, PdfNexa may store a mobile number, email address, hashed password, OTP verification status, and basic usage counters. This information is used for authentication, free PDF generation limits, and account access.

OTP and security

OTP verification may be used for registration and password reset. OTP codes are time-limited and used only to verify account ownership. Passwords should always be stored as hashes and never as plain text.

Payments and Razorpay

If payment is enabled from the admin panel, plan prices, ad-free price, and Razorpay configuration are controlled by the site administrator. Payment details are handled by the payment gateway. PdfNexa should not store full card, UPI, or banking details on its server.

Advertising and Monetag

If Monetag ads are enabled, advertising scripts may collect information according to Monetag policies. The administrator can turn ads on or off and can also set an ad-free upgrade price from the admin panel.

Analytics and traffic counters

PdfNexa may count page visits and top pages to help improve the website. This traffic counter is used for basic website performance and content planning inside the admin panel.

User control

Users can avoid uploading sensitive files, log out after use, and request account or usage information removal from the site owner where applicable. For business or legal documents, users should confirm their own compliance requirements before uploading files.
